I can’t get anyone on the phone to renew my payroll license key, and the upgrades aren’t typically any better year to year. I am asking my accountant for alternatives and will dump Intuit as soon as I can.

I can’t believe that they don’t even have phone support for paid payroll installations I suspect they make this hard precisely so they can charge more money, which they do Unethical, wrong, terrible company. Tech support wonderful and I have great experience with Intuit. They are always there to support you. The disk didn’t work. After attempting to use the disk deveral times, it never worked.

I ended up having to download and then the registration process was in an endless loop not allowing me in. I had to call and after an hour, finally got the software to work.

Intuit has gotten worse over the years, not better. Total POS. Quickbooks is just a crappy company use someone else your can never get to a real human that knows anything, i’m stuck with them because thats what we have used for years they just like to fee you to death, paroll subscription is Customer service is a joke just ridiculous.

Desktop QB support has gone downhill every year. This year hit rock bottom! Unfortunately, the price more than doubled since the prior year. The program hasn’t changed much to qualify for the reason of the increase.

The good news is, their customer service has always been able to fix any issue I have. The bad news is, you can only open ONE company up at a time. Makes it a real pain when you’re switching money or receipts from one company to another. Peachtree Sage never had an issue with that. One person found this helpful. The product has terrible technical support. I would say the support is completely useless. The support team got outsourced, and they have no idea how the product works.

The support team will make you stay on a call for hours, and in the end, they leave you without a resolution.

What chaps my hide is QB going to subscription; that just seems unnecessary and greedy, especially in the current financial climate. Always upgraded our version at least every 2 years and that seemed fair to me price-wise. Not happy, but bit the bullet I hope no one buys this software.

Intuit has raised the price over double from last year and it looks like all you get is a 1 year subscription. I used to buy a new version every year because it included a year of payroll. Last year they refused to refund the charge even though I contacted them immediately.

I had to do a chargeback on my credit card. I will be looking for different payroll software and probably different accounting software. Enough is enough.
