I suspect the Team’s team is getting this feedback a lot because they have a lot of FAQs on how to turn notifications on, but mine are most certainly turned on, and I do not get notifications of new messages.<\/p>\n

UI clarity around when a message is sent is also poor. So far, so good! Been using it for about a month. User friendly.<\/p>\n

Update: Have been using this since the beginning of the pandemic for work frequent daily use. Chat, video, voice features have all been reliable and user-friendly. My team is always just a click away and we’re able to stay communicative. Recent update makes the app break frequently.<\/p>\n

When opening the app, there’s a loading screen screen saying “Managed by your organization” that often never finishes. I have to force close the app several times before it goes through. Your calendar in Teams is already connected to your Exchange calendar, which means it is linked to Outlook.<\/p>\n

So when you schedule a meeting in Outlook, it automatically shows up in Teams, and similarly the other way round. Download Microsoft Teams for Free. We could create as many groups as we want without confusion and schedule meetings and call others anytime from around the world. I personally liked this app as it was par to many leading chat apps like WhatsApp, telegram etc. At work they have transitioned from an email service to Teams. The chat function is fine except you cannot delete chats, you can only hide and mute them. So every chat group I have ever been in is still there just muted and hidden.<\/p>\n

There is no way to clear chats or teams. The same goes for activity. I have thousands of notifications in the activity tab that cannot be deleted. It makes the app feel very cluttered all the time. WhatsApp is way better in my opinion for chatting but of course the company wants better privacy than WhatsApp so now all our communication must go through Teams. So when we need to schedule a team call, I have to exit teams, check outlook calendars and then go back to teams.<\/p>\n

Anyway, there are some good things about teams but it could be so much better if they made some functionality improvements. Ok, so I broke down and downloaded the app to my iPhone sometime during the summer of because I supervise a lot of people and babysit the rest of the office so I was constantly being hounded by every method possible texts, calls to my cell and desk, emails, and Teams.<\/p>\n

People appreciate that more gentle approach. Yes, definitely! While Microsoft Teams is prominently used as a communication tool, it integrates well with Office and OneNote. As such, you can use it to perform a wide range of functions. The simple interface ensures robust and effective communication among multiple team members.<\/p>\n
